Sat, November 4 tasting - All things nebbiolo, including wines from Barolo, Alto Piemonte, Lombardy and Sparkling nebbiolo. Nebbiolo has reached nearly mythical status for its propensity to create some of the most structured, age worthy red wines in the world. Unlike varieties such as cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir, nebbiolo has never achieved the such vaulted status anywhere else in the world except in its endemic region of Piedmont. It is truly one of Italy’s noble varieties.
